Volunteer

This is a place to dig in—into soil, into ideas, into community. Volunteering at Sustain DuPage is how we learn from each other, care for the land, and grow something that lasts beyond any one of us.

Grow With Us

When you volunteer with Sustain DuPage, you:

  • Help restore and protect local ecosystems

  • Share and grow knowledge in sustainability practices

  • Strengthen community connections

  • Support equity and justice through grassroots action

From one-time help to ongoing leadership, every hand counts.

Earn a Membership

We offer membership to those who contribute 50 hours of volunteer time each year. It’s a way to recognize the people who help sustain this community through their energy, care, and consistency. Along the way, you’ll build relationships, learn new skills, and directly shape the future of Sustain DuPage.

Join Your Way

If volunteering isn’t possible right now, you can still be part of the community by becoming a member through an annual fee. Your support helps maintain shared spaces, expand programs, and keep everything growing so others can participate. You can learn more about membership options and find the path that works best for you here.

Graphic Designers/ Video Animators/ Editors

We would love to have a team of graphic designers and video animators who could contribute their skills to Sustain DuPage content. We would be happy to credit @ tag all content created as a donation to Sustain DuPage across our social media and website. We have a big vision to begin creating more educational videos, bioregional indie news media, and general day-to-day website content. By crowdsourcing collaborative tasks, we can take the burden off any one specific designer.
